We loved using these positive message envelopes for our Chinese New Year celebration. They were easy to print out on red paper, fold and decorate. The gold ink made them very elegant. We plan to use this template every year! So glad we found these!!! Thank you!
Thank you for creating a simple template and easy to follow directions. I have shared it with multiple ages/grades when sharing about the new year for my kids’ classes. This craft is enjoyed by 3 year olds and up through elementary!
I love that the kids can trace the characters with gold markers. We have loved hanging these all over the house every year!
My girls and I really enjoyed going through this packet. It's very well done. Thank you!
Kids and adults alike enjoyed making these paper lanterns. It was great that the template was offered in two sizes! I printed on a variety of colored, heavier weight paper and used washi tape for decorating.
I purchased this set to use with my Talent Development class and we had a wonderful creative time with each item. Our class learned how to make mobiles using the banners and they each decorated 3 envelopes to give to family, friends or teachers to celebrate the Lunar New Year. We filled the envelopes with Dragon scratch offs donated from our Donors Choose project. We decorated the envelopes with Gold metallic pens also from an anonymous Donor Choose contributor. Thank you for offering this projects at an affordable price for teachers who love to be creative while teaching about culture. It was worth spending my own money to know it was correct and it made my lesson come together beautifully.
I use this with my 6th grade students at the Lunar New Year and they enjoy the information and crafts! This resource is beautifully put together and leads to further questions and more interest which is wonderful. It helps me feel confident introducing cultural traditions that I haven’t had the opportunity to experience firsthand. Thanks to Betty for such a wonderful product!
Excellent. Save my time to create the labels. It helps kids to arranging their stationeries while learning Chinese & English.
so helpful! my kinder and 1st grader loved it!
What a beautiful, thoughtful, and inclusive activity kit! I'm so looking forward to using it!
The activities were a great hit for children in our program, ranging from 4 to 12 years of age. The templates and instructions were helpful, and the children especially enjoyed the messages in the fortune cookies!
Good worksheets, kids enjoy coloring and can understanding - thanks!
First, I want to say that I love chalk academy! Everything Betty puts out is so well thought out, and thorough. It is high quality, high educational value, age appropriate, and fun. Perfect for the Christmas season, while also allowing the kids to maintain and practice their Chinese.
This was easy to put together and, more importantly, it is helping our family get through the day. The icons are cute and my son wanted to color them in.
I printed these and used them at at VBS in Alaska at two different villages! They were a hit! These kids worked hard on them and used washi tape and rhinestones!! The template made it a very easy craft to coordinate for an event that we had limited luggage space for!! I just printed them on colored card stock so prep was easy as well!
