I had fun with a client doing this project. We used a template of a chine food box and put the fortune cookies inside. We also decorated the box and some of the fortune cookies with small stencils using colored blotters. If the recommended paper is too hard for an adult to handle, I used orgami paper. I will be trying this with seniors. Thank you!

Creative, Helpful, and Cute!
I purchased the Korean foods set to laminate and play with my one year old. She loves playing with them, and I love the fact that I can read the words to help myself learn the name of each food!

Easy to make, perfect money envelope for children.
We loved using these positive message envelopes for our Chinese New Year celebration. They were easy to print out on red paper, fold and decorate. The gold ink made them very elegant. We plan to use this template every year! So glad we found these!!! Thank you!

Easy to follow directions
Thank you for creating a simple template and easy to follow directions. I have shared it with multiple ages/grades when sharing about the new year for my kids’ classes. This craft is enjoyed by 3 year olds and up through elementary!

Great template
Kids and adults alike enjoyed making these paper lanterns. It was great that the template was offered in two sizes! I printed on a variety of colored, heavier weight paper and used washi tape for decorating.

Year of the Dragon at GCMS
I purchased this set to use with my Talent Development class and we had a wonderful creative time with each item. Our class learned how to make mobiles using the banners and they each decorated 3 envelopes to give to family, friends or teachers to celebrate the Lunar New Year. We filled the envelopes with Dragon scratch offs donated from our Donors Choose project. We decorated the envelopes with Gold metallic pens also from an anonymous Donor Choose contributor. Thank you for offering this projects at an affordable price for teachers who love to be creative while teaching about culture. It was worth spending my own money to know it was correct and it made my lesson come together beautifully.

Well done!
I use this with my 6th grade students at the Lunar New Year and they enjoy the information and crafts! This resource is beautifully put together and leads to further questions and more interest which is wonderful. It helps me feel confident introducing cultural traditions that I haven’t had the opportunity to experience firsthand. Thanks to Betty for such a wonderful product!
